Underwriter
Underwriters must possess strong analytical thinking, negotiation, and decision-making skills.  At Great West, our Underwriters maintain high standards for the companies we insure and promote safe and ethical conduct. Our Underwriters specialize in either truck or workers’ compensation.
Underwriting Support Specialists and Assistants
Underwriting Support Specialists and Assistants work side by side with underwriters and insureds. They process new and renewing policies and endorsements, file the appropriate forms with regulatory bureaus, assist underwriters with rating, creating, reviewing, and quoting accounts, provide exceptional customer service to agents and insureds, and complete other clerical duties.
